Applications: Ground Mount Systems

Some public lands, unused or marginal agricultural lands, environmental brown fields, warehouse and commercial properties with empty space, low slope hillsides and other sunny, open spaces are all candidates for the construction of ground mounted solar energy facilities.  Ground mounted facilities are often easier to build and maintain than roof mounted or carport systems, and developing unused land into an energy producing asset often makes sense.  Ground mounted systems often can be designed as extremely efficient high power facilities, especially if the design includes sun tracking capabilities.  Security and soil conditions are important considerations, but for those entities that have unused land, a ground mount solar field can be a wonderful thing.
