Solar Energy Project Financing

Solar Power Partners provides leading financial institutions and qualified individuals with opportunities to generate attractive low-risk returns from the growth of solar energy that help achieve specific financial objectives through investments in Limited Liability Corporations (LLC) or Partnerships (LLP). These financial entities serve as project financing funds that allow investors to benefit from the following:

   • Federal Investment Tax Credits
   • Accelerated Depreciation Benefits
   • State-Specific Incentives (Rebates, Credits, and Grants)
   • Sale of Solar Energy Facilities
   • Sale of Solar Power to Commercial Entities

SPP expects the passing of H.R. 550: Securing America’s Energy Independence Act in mid 2007 will provide the pivotal catalyst for mass solar adoption in the U.S. Details of the bill include 1) extending the federal ITC for commercial solar for 8 additional years, 2) modifying the commercial tax credit for photovoltaics to $1,500 per half kW, 3) providing AMT relief for solar projects, and 4) providing 3-year accelerated depreciation for commercial solar systems. SPP is poised to capitalize on developments at the federal and state levels to provide opportunities for commercial solar systems to be developed nationwide while generating attractive returns to project investors.
