Overview

Using solar Power Purchase Agreement,
SPP completed six additional grocery stores
for a national chain in a second portfolio
of projects in 2008. The store locations
are Corona, Mill Valley, Monrovia, Murrieta,
Oxnard, and Santa Rosa. The systems total
1.2 MW in size.

Results

SPP partnered with best of breed integrators
for the systems, which produce an estimated
annual 1,950,326 total kWh. This is equivalent
to 1,388 metric tons of carbon dioxide
emissions offset, or 157,548 gallons of
consumed gasoline. The systems are owned,
operated, and maintained by SPP and perform
above expectation.
